How to change icon size of the dock in Ubuntu / Unity

To change the size of the Dock icons go to:

Settings > Appereance > Dock > Icon Size

Remove applications menu from top panel [Unity/Ubuntu]

Applications menu will be displayed in the main window, not in the top panel:

sudo apt-get remove indicator-appmenu
